hi, i'm Robin

Robin Godfrey, founder of Runaway Lovers and intimate wedding photographer.

Long before photography became my career, I was paying attention to the moments most people never noticed.

The way the light changed at the end of the day. A quiet glance between two people. A hand reaching for another. The feeling that lived in a single moment before it disappeared.

Photography has followed me through every chapter of my life. Different places. Different jobs. Different seasons I never expected.

Today, I photograph intimate weddings and elopements because I believe the most meaningful stories aren't the loudest ones. They're found in the in-between moments—the deep breath before your vows, the squeeze of a hand, the laughter that wasn't planned.

I won't ask you to perform for the camera. I'll guide you when you need it, then step back and let your story unfold.
